Condition of the 30-year-lease contract included for us to accept taking over and renovating the house completely. This could be accomplished only with a borrowing in the six-digit number ambit and a personal contribution of all associated members. Regulating, encouraging and controlling these hours of own power of the members again absorbed loads of power of the active members. Especially the areas being used by many artists / musicians were struggling for their shares.
Finally, it was also decided that really all tenants had also to be members of the association, or would be dismissed. And again, following this, we consequently separated from some particularly stubborn tenants who in precedent years had been just beneficiaries of the association's work and the voluntary performance of many colleagues, and still had no interest in steady reliable cooperation with the community.
