2001 ProLab 01

Ilja Blasberg and me in 2001 started the event agency “Pro Lab 01”.

Purpose: Providing the Cologne Fetish Scene, emigrating to Belgium or the nearby Ruhr area every weekend for celebrating, with attractive parties and up-to-date sound.
Designed lurid, we allured with the first Snuff Club party for CSD 2001 on two levels in the KunstWerk and the following parties Snuff Club II, III and IV.
After another 12 months, and the realization of four fetish event parties, the fun began to subside. Although we always had new great ideas, the coolest drinks, tolerant waiters and doormen, scene known DJ's, sexy Gogoboys and lots of nice guests, expensive ads and the constant search for new spectacular locations costed an unexpectedly large amount of money. Added to that, the then still existing commercial competition in Cologne, suffering sales declines and revenue arrears through our activity, tried to interfere where possible (them going bankrupt a few years later anyway, without our contribution).

At the end of 2002, we collected our savings and concentrated more on cooperation with existing Fetish Bars, like “Stiefelknecht” in Cologne center. Such motivated and supported it was now on the spot to clearly point out with "Dance and Fuck" that even in Cologne it still was worthwhile going out. We started the party series "Sexpolice" with the after-hour "G-Rave & Move", and for a while were our own taxi dancers.

Hunknight

With the “Hunknight” under a modified motto we started another major event in the “KunstWerk”. Now strongly financially support from the maker of the Berlin Disco "Lust", Malte Moritz, who in November 2006 died in Cologne. Yet again, revenues and expenditures turned out just balanced, so despite the enlivening and encouragement of the Cologne event Scene we disbanded Agency “ProLab01” in late 2003.001 ProLab 01.
